As a young woman I went on an extended road trip with my partner. Weeks turned into months. We adopted two pups. Eventually, we lived in three different cities in the span of two years. My twenties was a decade ‘when home was elsewhere'—the perfect place, forever out of reach. This book is a selection of images I took during those years, looking at the world around me, trying to recognize in it something that would ground and hold, against the inevitability of motion.
